Cody Landers

Student Pastor

Cody grew up in several southern states. He ended up graduating from Claremore High School in Claremore, Oklahoma. Cody spent a year running track at Wayland Baptist University. He met his wife Damaris at Wayland. Cody has been married to Damaris for five years. He decided to transfer and graduate from Moody Bible Institute with a Bachelor of Science in Ministry Leadership.

Cody has been serving in various student ministry contexts for the past five years. He started in Baton Rouge working with inner city students. He has served in various contexts such as the rural part of Texas and recently transitioned from a church in Lewisville, Texas which is a suburb of Dallas. He believes that in order to see a movement of God in student ministry that he must be diligent in engaging the local schools, be fervent with getting the Gospel to the student population, and building discipleships models to develop a Godly lifestyle.

Cody enjoys running, exploring new places, hiking, and reading. Cody loves to spend time with his wife finding places that are popular with the locals of the area. Cody is particular about coffee and loves making pour overs with coffee from local roasters.
